According to recent reports, Rights activist Irom Sharmila will contest against Manipur CM and Congress candidate Okram Ibobi Singh from Thoubal constituency in the Assembly elections.
Assembly elections will be held on March 4 and 8.
She had launched her own party People's Resurgence and Justice Alliance (PRJA).
